• Visual review and assessment of the existing light pole assemblies for general condition, light level measurements and recommendations for future use.

 

NA Engineering Associates Inc. was retained by Bruce Power to review light pole assemblies (luminaires, arms and poles) and conduct light level measurements for the Bruce Nuclear Site. The deliverable for the project was a detailed report including findings, recommendations, and prioritized plans for re-use, removal, or replacement.  We reviewed 195 light poles, each assessed for overall condition of parts and structure, as well as manufacturer and size. Our team documented this on individual sheets   

The report also included criteria from model lighting codes and municipal standards, forming the basis for future lighting design. We were awarded the detailed design phase for the project which includes cable routing, and new transformer design using Bruce Power Engineering Change control process.
