Bruce Power Radiation Zoning Project

In 2009, NA Engineering Associates Inc. was retained as the Design Agent for all design disciplines of the radiation zoning upgrade project at the Bruce A and B Nuclear generating stations.  Design work includes structural design heavy steel and concrete radiation shielding and electrical/instrumentation design for power supplies and configurations of new radiation monitoring equipment.   Our design staff provided data entry directly into Bruce Power’s data management system for new equipment and engineering changes.  The project marked our first project implementation of its nuclear CSA N286 design Quality Assurance program.
