Preparing today’s youth for tomorrows workforce is a demanding task.  Fanshawe College is continually improving the facilities it provides to students.  Renovations to existing buildings, acquisition of new properties, and construction of exciting new facilities work together to create a modern up to date campus that will attract students from throughout the province.

NA Engineering Associates Inc. provides roof consulting services for the campus’ 2 million square feet of roofing.  Over the past 5 years, almost $1,000,000.00 has been spent removing old existing roofing systems and installing new roofs.  Old, traditional roofing systems, many still performing after 30+ years are replaced with, new, traditional roofing systems.  Modern technology is utilized during installation to minimize the effects on the campus.  The roof replacement program has to be tendered so that work could be completed May – August, with all work finished before Labour Day Weekend.

When the College is considering acquiring a new property, the team of professionals from NA Engineering Associates Inc. is called on to do a condition survey of the building.  Structural, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as the building envelope are all taken into consideration in the survey.  This type of work requires a quick response time to coincide with deadlines of property transfer transactions.  NA Engineering Associates Inc. is pleased to have provided professional consulting services for Fanshawe College since 1999.
