This new dealership, located in Stratford, Ontario, was the highest rated LEED automotive dealership in Canada at the time of construction and is the first LEED GOLD automotive dealership in Canada.  Stratford Toyota is the first LEED automotive dealership in Ontario and  the first LEED building in Stratford. This building has been designed to promote human and environmental health through sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy efficiency, material selection and indoor environmental quality.

Building features include structural steel frame, in floor heating systems, Alucobond prefinished metal panel cladding and low E curtain wall systems.  The rear shop area is clad with a composite structural metal panel system providing superior thermal resistance.  Interior spaces are bright and comfortable and the shop area to the rear is provided with a high proportion of natural light through a series of roof mounted skylights.  Energy efficient electrical systems coupled with motion detection increase the convenience of usability of the building while keeping operational costs in check.  A large storm water management facility was included on the property ensuring that storm water retention was able to be utilized for the facility.

NA Engineering Associates Inc. provided Hyde Construction with LEED certified consultants and consulting services including civil, architectural, structural and electrical disciplines for the design and construction of this exciting new building.
