KINCARDINE, ONTARIO – Community friends, clients, and staff of NA Engineering Associates Inc. gathered to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the firm’s Kincardine branch last night. The 933 Queen St. office has been a staple in downtown Kincardine since 2007, providing a broad range of engineering and design services to the Tri-County area surrounding Bruce Power.
“We’re proud of the work that we’ve accomplished together with Bruce Power. We’re also proud of the roots that we’ve put down in the community,“ said Larry Walton, a partner with NA Engineering Associates Inc. and the manager of the Kincardine branch.
The firm provided overall design and engineering for the award-winning Bruce Power Fire Training Facility; a world-class building that was purpose built to simulate emergency situations for Bruce Power’s Emergency and Protective Services.
“I can’t tell you how lucky we are to have local support from NA Engineering” said Mike Rencheck, Bruce Power President & CEO. “The fire training centre is one of the best training facilities in the industry, if not the world… Our emergency response teams are prepared and always excel in competitions because of the things they can do in the facility you helped design and build for us.”
The original intent behind the firm’s Kincardine branch was to better support clients in the nuclear sector. The firm has now completed more than 150 local projects for Bruce Power, Ontario Power Generation and Canadian Nuclear Laboratories, and over 200 projects for clients within the Huron-Grey-Bruce Counties.
The firm fosters a strong culture of civic engagement and volunteerism. Staff members take pride in the work they have completed to support the municipality of Kincardine, as well as the half-million dollars that the firm has raised for various charities.

Nick Aroutzidis closed the tenth anniversary event thanking Mayor of Kincardine Anne Eadie, and Mike Rencheck for their continuing support of NA Engineering Associates Inc. and reiterated his commitment to Bruce Power and the community beyond 2064
