Boyle and Byron Community Centres

The Boyle and Byron  Community Centers, London Ontario were in need of a substantial renovation and the City of London made the decision to provide a bold new face to these community hubs.  Creative and original solution for each renovation complemented the buildings original design.  All of the building’s major systems and components were removed and new installed.

NA Engineering Associates Inc. was responsible for the civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical design services and field review during construction of this revitalized buildings.  Features include new services to the buildings.  All electrical and mechanical systems were replaced with energy efficient equipment which will increase the building’s comfort while keeping operational costs down.  The renovated facilities include new kitchens, multi-purpose rooms, accessible washrooms, office upgrades and gymnasium renewals.

Interior spaces are bright and inviting.  Exposed mechanical systems and feature lighting in the main galleries and entries create interesting and welcoming community spaces with comfort being of prime consideration.  What great rehabilitation projects for these well established neighborhoods!
