NA Engineering Associates Inc. was retained to be the prime design consultant for the new 59,000 square foot Maintenance and Computer Development Facility at the Darlington Nuclear Generating Station.  NA Engineering Associates Inc. is responsible for the structural, mechanical, electrical and civil / municipal disciplines of this exciting new project.

The new Maintenance and Computer Development Facility includes five separate shop areas each with overhead cranes, computer rooms with complex mechanical systems, offices, conference rooms, and ancillary service spaces.

The design process is mandated by the Ontario Power Generation FMOD process including Design Change Package preparation (DCP), Design Change Notice (DCN), COMS review, design review stages, etc.  Approximately thirteen DCN packages have been created to tackle multiple tie-ins and systems for the Facility.
